A Few Words About Our Gardening Services
We would like to be sure everyone knows what is available in the way of gardening services and what Cemetery regulations apply.
NO ARTIFICIAL DECORATIONS ARE PERMITTED WITHIN THE CEMETERY AT ANY TIME.
ON ANY SPECIAL OCCASION, you may set out potted plants, cut flowers or wreaths; however, they must NOT be planted in the ground. Such decorations will be left on the site as long as they do not interfere with regular maintenance of the area and should not be considered seasonal decorations.
Floral arrangements for both summer and Christmas holiday seasons can be arranged for through the Cemetery.
For the Summer Season
Monument Lots:
We can plant a bed, normally 3 square feet. Such plantings are restricted to your choice of one color of the following plants:
Red, Pink, or White Begonias;
Red, Pink, or White Impatiens.
NO MIXTURES ARE PERMITTED.
Larger beds may be specifically ordered but the varieties are also limited to the aforementioned.
Lawn - Plan Lots:
That is, if your marker is flat with the ground - in-ground planting is NOT permitted. We will provide a redwood planter box or an urn for the summer season. The selection of plant material for these types of containers is also limited to one type of plant and color.
For the Holiday Season
Attractive arrangements of a bed or box of evergreen boughs - or a traditional wreath - may be ordered from the Cemetery. These decorations will be placed on your lot prior to Christmas Day and will be removed no earlier than the first week of February.
Some areas are subject to certain restrictions concerning the type of decorations permitted. If you have any questions, please contact the Cemetery office.
PERMANENT PLANTING OF TREES, SHRUBS AND PERENNIALS
Will be permitted ONLY in certain areas and ONLY with Cemetery permission. Planting and maintenance work will only be performed by Cemetery personnel. No permanent plantings are permitted without payment of an appropriate charge for perpetual care.
For further information concerning permanent plantings, please contact the Cemetery office.

Book of Remembrance
For those wishing to contribute "GIFTS OF FLOWERS" to the memory of individuals memorialized within the Cypress Columbarium, we suggest the BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE. On its beautifully hand-lettered pages will be inscribed the names of the donor and of the person to be remembered. A page will be turned on each day to reveal the bold script stating for whom the flowers are dedicated on that particular day. For a specified contribution to an endowment, an appropriate flower arrangement will be placed in the Columbarium each year on the date specified.
Any one of our staff members will go into this matter more fully with you if you are interested.
